Hello, thank you for visiting my website. My name is Joanne and I have been a florist for almost 40 years. I started work in the family business which many local people will remember as Harrisons Florist which was started by my grandfather, who was a nurseryman and grower of English flowers, but I am actually a fourth generation florist so it is " in my blood". I am both college and bench trained gaining city and guilds level 1,2 and 3 and have a heritage of knowledge, passion and design for my craft.I am also proud to be the preferred supplier for many local companies and businesses, such as Bolton School Junior Boys, North West Ambulance Service, the Livesey Funeral Service, amongst many others.
I am totally committed to the flower industry in striving to produce beautiful designs from quality fresh flowers and I am constantly updating my skills and Getting ahead of current trends. I have recently made the regional finals in The wedding awards industry 2020 and also The English wedding awards North 2019. I hold the Bridebook gold award for 2018 and fans choice city winner 2017 so you may rest assured that I am proficient in all aspects of floristry and cater for weddings, bespoke funeral pieces, a beautiful birthday bouquet......or whatever the day brings...and all made with love. I work based from a separate workshop and studio at my home and buy flowers daily so that optimum freshness is always key, Pre ordering helps me to plan my buying and deliveries but I realize that sending flowers can also be a spontaneous gesture so always try to accommodate for this too. I have an excellent relationship with all my suppliers , having many long term trusted contacts in the flower trade, both in the U.K and Holland and only buy the best quality of Dutch and English flowers , so you can rest assured that whatever your occasion it will be crafted to perfection .
